I suck. I'm sorry. I keep meaning to blog about my trip (which was like 2 weeks ago now) but my camera and I can't seem to connect with my computer. I'll try to post it sometime soon...but I make no guarantees (ps. that is a weird word). Maybe on Friday on my day off? Unless I'm too busy gallivanting around the state with SwingKid (which is the plan!).
Anyways. Today's Ten on Tuesday is a little...different. But Awesome. Now. Remember how my camera and I aren't connecting well? So...these pics are either a)old or b)from the internet. :o) enjoy!!
For each of the following, take a picture. This is a chance for us to get a literal glimpse into each other’s lives. Feel free to skip a question if it doesn’t apply to you or it’s too personal. You can include explanations if necessary.
1. Your House
This isn't my particular building, but I live in one EXACTLY like it next to this one. I love my apt/condo thing. It's awesome.
2. Your shower
Pretty normal. This is from a long time ago...but is still my shower.
3. The Inside of your refrigerator: Yeah. So not happening. here's a pretend version of my fridge:
4. Your pet:
I have no pet. Bob the Fish died a long time ago. So no pet.
5. Your favorite pair of shoes:
these aren't EXACTLY mine...but I have a pair that looks exactly like them and I love them. They are my favorite shoes. Such a smart purchase. i need more colored heels in my life. Like yellow. or Green!
6. The most comfortable seat in your house.
um. my bed? yeah. there's not really a "most comfortable seat" in my house right now. Someday I will have a better couch than my $20 craigslist find.
7. Your favorite cup or coffee mug.
Well. I don't have a favorite cup or coffee mug. Well, I do. But it's sooo normal it seems lame to put it up here. glass. Not very tall. Awesome. the end.
8. Your Laundry Room:
I LOVE my laundry room.
9. The view from your office chair:
Legally, I'm not allowed to show you this. Basically - it's a normal office. The end.
10. Your spouse/significant other/roommate.
Since I'm anonymous and stuff I can't really show you his face, but here's a pic from his outside his apt. from the 5th of July (when we celebrated the 4th!) with sparklers. I love sparklers and SwingKid! :o) YAY for LOVE!
well hope you enjoyed that. Sorry if you felt it was lame. I'm kind of in a lame blogging rut. I need to get out of it. I will try to have adventures so I can post fun things. Until next time....

X
So random story - it totally relates to my post title. While in DC with my dad and brother we walked down Pennsylvania Avenue and walked right past the DC post office (the original one). On the building were some roman numerals. I knew that they signified the year the building was finished and asked my brother (he's super smart) to figure it out. Well, I guess he's not so much a roman numeral kind of guy. Lucky for him I remember 6th grade math like it was yesterday and after standing there for a minute or two while my dad dealt with a homeless peddler trying to sell a map, I figured it out! I felt so smart. :o) Anyways. So today's post title represents the number 10 for Ten on Tuesday! awesome right?
Before I get to the Ten on Tuesday greatness you should know that SwingKid left me this morning to go camping at Capitol Reef. This however, will allow me to do at least 3 things. 1)get back on the exercise bandwagon so when he's back I can't be swayed to just go spend time with him instead of cycling or running or weight lifting or whatever. 2)finish my quilted duvet cover. it's going to look awesome. pictures to come. promise. 3)write about my vacation! Seeing how my favorite summer show has ended, my favorite fall shows haven't started yet and the boyfriend is out of town I'll have some downtime to write up everything I did and include pictures! woo hoo! So look forward to that tomorrow. Okay? OK!
and NOW the moment you've been waiting for...the College version of Ten on Tuesday. loves.
1. Where did you go to college?
I went to Brigham Young University. loved it.
2. What did you study?
I majored in Dance with a Ballet Emphasis. I also got a Business Management minor. It all worked pretty well for me.
3. Was college really all that it was cracked up to be?
Yeah it was. I really enjoyed it. I had different experiences than expected, but I think that was the best part.
4. How far were you from home?
for 4 years I was 20 minutes from home. Then my family moved to VA and suddenly they were 2,000 miles away for my Senior year.
5. Did you have the same roommate all four years?
Nope. I moved in with someone I knew my first year. She got married and I stayed at that apartment for 2 more years until I moved in with someone else I knew. I stayed there for a summer and moved in with another girl I knew. Then I moved somewhere ELSE for a summer where I knew half of my roommates. That fall I stayed, everyone I knew left and I got 5 new random roommates. they were awesome though. loved that year. When i moved again most recently I didn't know anyone but I'm okay with that. It seems to work out for me.
6. Where did you order food from at 2am?
I never ordered food at 2am. I don't think I was ever up that late AND hungry.
7. Did you date in college or were you tied down?
Oh I dated. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots. Then I met SwingKid. Happiest day ever.
8. Funniest drunk college moment?
seeing as how I went to the #1 stone cold sober university of the nation and i've never, ever even tried alcohol...this question is null.
9. Did you make it to class on time?
Always. I don't think I was ever late. If you were late for a dance class you were in BIG trouble. That tended to overflow into my other classes.
10. What was your favorite class in college?
Hmm. I loved my choreography classes. My dance classes were pretty awesome. I also loved my writing for the humanities English class. I have lots of favorite classes that I would totally take again.

Vacation Day 1
So right now I am just getting off the airplane and I'm off to go shopping with my mom and sisters! Woo hoo!! I love shopping and I am in dire need of a few basics, so this will be awesome.
Normally today would be Ten on Tuesday day. However, seeing as I am writing this and scheduling the posting (love this feature btw) then I encourage you to hop on over to Roots and Rings where Ten on Tuesday originates and read the posts I always link to and maybe participate yourself.
Even better...you should comment and guess how I would answer the questions. Now that sounds awesome. Hope you're having as much fun as I am right now! :o)
