You guys! Fall is coming!! As I drive to work in the mornings my little car thermostat has started registering A LOT cooler in the mornings (example, this morning it was 59 as I drove to work!) and I need a sweatshirt for the first little bit every morning.
I love it.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons and it makes me SO HAPPY that Fall is practically here. What I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around is the fact that it is the 12th of September. Man. Where does time go????
Anyways, I have some good news for all y'all. TWO pieces of good news actually....
1. Soldier Boy decided at the beginning of the month that it would be better for him to live closer to me and his daughter rather than closer to work (which actually ended at the beginning of September) SO...he's been looking for somewhere to live. Well, a facebook friend in my ward posted something on the ward facebook page Monday morning, Soldier Boy called and he has a place to live that is literally down the street from me. :o) This is PERFECT for us and is going to be SO GREAT.
2. A LONG time ago, Soldier Boy put in his packet to be promoted from a Specialist in the reserves to being a Sergeant. After a long time waiting, lots of paperwork and a sliver of good news last week, he was issued his orders as a SERGEANT yesterday. The BEST thing about this is that because of the slowness and the fact that his orders should have come through a LONG time ago, they were back dated to 1 May 2012. Meaning....he'll get a nice back pay paycheck coming to him as soon as they process that paperwork. (oh the paperwork in the military. ick) ANYWAYS. this is a BIG DEAL and we're so grateful it came through when it did. He'll have his "pinning" ceremony this weekend at his monthly drill exercise and it's going to be great. I am so proud of him for completing this HUGE milestone. :o) My boyfriend is the best.
So there you go! We're hoping for one more big piece of news in the coming weeks, but we have to wait a little bit for that....so I'll stay hush-hush about it for a while longer. In the meantime, we just keep chugging along. :o) Ciao!

poof!
It was just like that - POOF! Suddenly, summer was gone and all the was left in it's wake was a horrible tan line that never went away and the wishes of more sunshine. This weekend was filled with loads of cold temperatures, cloudy skies, rainy (and a little snow!) days and lots of indoor adventures.
I'm sorry I sort of disappeared the end of last week. Thursday was just insanely busy and I never got around to posting and then I had Friday off, which ended up being so very busy and Saturday was much the same. I did finally choose and begin the contemporary piece for BU2 (thank goodness!) and now I get to start the process of finding music for my ballet class in Spanish Fork. I start that class in one week and I want to start choreography (or at least learn some sections of the choreography and teach them so the students aren't shocked by said choreography) in a month...and then I'll actually teach the dance w/formations to them in the beginning of the year. We are to do a dance on discouragement. Any music ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated.
I finally got my new computer at work. It is sooooo pretty. I have a HUGE monitor that I love, Windows 7 operating system that I'm still getting used to and Microsoft Office 10 that is making me think very hard. ;)
In other news I need to ask a boy to go see Ballet West's Dracula with me in less than 2 weeks. I have been thinking about asking Blindman2 OR I might ask this one guy in my ward. sigh. I just don't know who to take.
In other news, life is busy. Actually, that's not really news, especially if you know me in real life. I'm just always doing things. This week is no exception.
Anywho, this is a very boring, mundane post. I'll try to be funnier in the future, but I make no promises. ;)

Random Thursday Things
Here we are guys. Another Thursday. This week has felt rather long and arduous to me, but maybe that's just me. I'm rather excited that it is the weekend and I'm even more excited because fun things are happening. Let's get this party started shall we?
- I'm leaving early tomorrow afternoon to drive to St. George with Chilly and friends to go see The Little Mermaid at Tuachan. I am SO freakin' excited for this! I have been looking forward to this event ever since I purchased my ticket. woo hoo!
- I am also looking forward to getting some much needed sleep. I have been so exhausted this week and Alishka needs her beauty sleep!
- My trainer....is insane. He is kicking my trash. BUT I like it. Not going to lie. He's fabulous. I did my very first bench press yesterday. Granted, all I lifted was the bar (45lbs) and not even by myself, BUT! I did it!!! I feel really cool now. :o)
- The General Relief Society Broadcast is this weekend. I LOVE this broadcast. It always rocks my world. (someone else that I just discovered blogged about this too...her blog is AWESOME. go read!)
- I have noticed the leaves changing on the mountains...I think it is time to take a drive up the canyon! woo hoo!
- I am in a mood of anything fall. I think I need to make some fall-type foods and desserts. mmmm...yup.
- Remember how I was doing my challenge? Yeah. It is going SO well. I feel like I have more time to get things done and I don't just lounge around and read tv. Also, this will help me to read more.
- I have been in a slight reading slump lately and as I visited Angie last night I picked up the randomest collection of books to read in the next few weeks. Definitely in a weird little reading mood.
- I have a new favorite band - Florence and the Machine. I realize they aren't that new, but I have recently discovered a love of their music.
- Also, I discovered this blog one day and totally went through and did the suggested things to my closet, MINUS a true remixing of outfits. I think I'm actually going to do a 30 for 30 Remix Challenge. I won't have prizes or anything, but I think I'll do it here - publicly showing my outfits and such. Maybe starting in October? Thoughts? Anyone want to tackle said challenge with me?
