sad.

My grandmother, who was 88, passed away early this morning. Her health had been failing for a while now, so this doesn't come at a surprise, but it is still sad. My grandfather has taken it hard and my mother is trying to be strong (I can tell) since she is all he has now. However, I know that this is hard for her too. My littlest sister, Sister D, is taking it well considering how close she is. She's cried a bit, and I can tell this is hard for her little 12 year-old self to handle. I can't imagine dealing with death at a young age. I mean, my other grandmother passed away when I was 7.5, but I don't think I really comprehended death at that point. I don't remember comprehending it.

I am so grateful right now for my knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and the peace it brings to my soul. I know that she is in a place where she can't hurt and I'm hoping that she is listening to those who are teaching her the gospel. She's always been stubborn, so it might take them awhile, but I have faith that she will accept. The fun day will be when we can actually submit her name and perform her temple work. That will be a neat experience for us all.

Now it's time to help with arrangements. This is all so weird to me. :P Have a beautiful Sunday everyone.

I am so sorry. My grandmother passed away last night. It's a sad time for us, too, but isn't it so great to know that families are forever? I hope your family will be comforted during this time.
