the perfect summer day

I love 3-day weekends. I tried to be a responsible college student (ha, yeah right) and did all of my finance homework before the 4th of July. Then, I took my marketing quiz early yesterday so that I could play all day long. And play i did! i started off my day by spending 3ish hours outside sitting by the pool, playing in the pool and reading the Princess Bride. (which is a magnificent book so far. i love it) After my adventures outside, (and getting a little bit of color too) Swing Kid and i watched a movie that he highly recommended, Cinema Paradiso. It was a beautiful film, with a wonderful soundtrack, good story, and the best company ever. After that ended we parted ways and I went to a friend's concert and then headed up to campus to go swing dancing. I love swing dancing so much. My evening continued with good conversation and getting wet in the sprinklers on campus. Overall it was a perfect summer day. I got to enjoy the sunshine and the evening stars. I love summer evenings, so it was honest to goodness the best day I have had in a long, long time.
