je m'appelle....

so. i'm pretty much a girly girl most of the time. ask my friends, mom, heck - ask SwingKid he knows I'm a girly girl. (but he likes it)

anywho...i'm a girly girl, and as such I've thought of kids names for my future kids since i was like...5. Here's my confession - girl names come so easily for me. boy names? not so much. in fact, i've never been a fan of having to pick boy names.

in fact, i've already picked my first daughter's name. it comes from a book. it's the name of a dragon. but it's pretty. but i won't tell that to you here. you might steal it, and i can't have that. not when i've dreamed of that name forever.

however, i was sitting at home the other day, just reading away when a name popped into my head. first and middle! it has sentimental value, sounds good, AND it's a boy's name!!! go figure! again, i'm not going to give it away here....i don't want anyone stealing it even if it is slightly common.

have you thought of kids' names before? if you were to have a kid tomorrow (boy or girl) what you name them? if you care to...share, i know i'm to selfish to share my names, but i'd love to hear yours!!

Friday!

Hard to believe the weekend arrived so fast. I think it has something to do with the 3-day weekend I enjoyed so much last weekend. How I wish EVERY weekend could be a 3-day weekend at times....but I guess I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I do when they actually come!  :-D

1. It's cold and creamy. Mmmm...ice cream.

2. I love them, SwingKid despises them, I'm talking of: tomatoes.

3. My favorite health and beauty product is good ol' facewash.

4. I could use a nice long ride.

5. Well, first of all it's FRIDAY!! Second of all, I'm going to PARTAY! and Third of all, the show is in 2 weeks...just a little nervous!!.

6. SwingKid and myself; those were the cast of characters in a recent dream and it was private thank you very much. 

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to BU2 closing social pool party at my apartment. woot!, tomorrow my plans include shopping with Roommate L, she is in MUCH need of some color to her closet and Sunday, I want to enjoy the last day of May!

from hate to love

so...last week i proclaimed my strong hate for Wednesdays. Today, I proclaim my love.  See, I think it's because this week is only a 4-day work week. (Hallelujah!) Which means today, while being Wednesday, only feels like Tuesday, and then tomorrow is Thursday, and I Love love LOVE Thursdays. So....today should be a good day.

Park City on Monday was pretty fabulous. I had a wonderful time walking around with SwingKid in the sunshine, stealing kisses on the street and in the department stores, modeling clothes and shoes for his opinion and I made some great purchases! I bought some suit shorts that are really nice, comfy and were cheap to boot! I also got some new sandals (a summer must), a fossil watch that's adorable, and an arm band for my phone and keys when I go running.

Last night SwingKid and I went running.... 1.5 miles. I thought I was going to die, but at the same time it felt REALLY good. I'm hoping to do the same run again later today. Go me! 

All things considered, life is pretty great right now. And now I'm headed to institute. I haven't been in ages because of work...but I'm excited to go today! :-)

drip drip drip...

where is my sunshine? i was SO looking forward to basking in the sun this weekend, and what does it do? rains. GO FIGURE!!! oh well, SwingKid and I went up the the "Castle" on saturday in the early evening. it was overcast and absolutely GORGEOUS!

Today it has pretty much rained all day long. I was hoping for a sunny memorial day, but right now it's looking like there's more chances of rain. which sort of sucks! SwingKid and I have plans to eat crepes with his family in the morning (mmm....crepes) and then go up to Park City (shopping yay!!!) and also explore "Historic Main Street." I am rather excited about our little trip. I wish I could really go out of town, but that just wasn't going to work out. Oh well....I'll survive I suppose. At least, we hope I survive.

So far, it's been a fairly decent weekend. Let's hope it continues in that vein!
