I love Mondays. I know I say that like, every Monday, but it's SO true! Today we have a wonderful Favorite Monday subject...and it is that of favorite Halloween candy.

mmm... yum. I love Halloween candy.

Like Chilly, I love the Indian corn, candy corn stuff. But I prefer the pumpkins from that type of mix. :-) YUMMY! I have already had so much of that stuff....but I still love it.

Wonderful Wednesday

So many of you have commented on my Vain post about wanting to see pictures from my photo shoot. Let me just start with saying that they are HOT. Now, we all know that I like to keep my identity a secret. ;) So trying to find a picture from my photo shoot that doesn't give me away has been hard.  However, I think I have found a couple pictures that cater to keeping my identity secret and will satisfy all y'all's need to see my beautifulness (because let's be honest, I love showing myself off.)

Marvelistic Monday!!

I have always loved Mondays. Today is no different!! Tib has picked a perfect Favorite Monday topic, and I just couldn't pass it up! The topic today: Favorite Halloween Costume.

Man oh man. I love Halloween costumes. I have a great one picked out for this year (but I'm not telling you until Halloween. It's a surprise!!!) and I have had some great ones in years past.  I think my favorite was my Junior year of High School when I went as a.......Pink Flamingo!!! I thought I had a picture on my computer, but alas, I do not. So you're just going to have to imagine my awesome sparkly pink skirt and sweet flamingo beak I made from a sock and toilet paper tube. It was awesome. So that was one of my favs...how about you? what's your favorite Halloween Costume???

Vain....

Confession time. Sometimes, I am a little vain. Today is one of those days. I look freaking good today. I'm wearing a really cute "cider" down east long-sleeved, laced tee plus my gorgeous brown slacks and cute scarf. Also, I did my hair today and full make-up. It's all for the photo shoot I'm doing for my friend today. I'm excited to see how all the pictures turn out, because I feel gorgeous so I think it's not too much to ask for gorgeous photos. he he he. here's hoping!

Something about Fridays...

Today is a wonderful Friday. No 9am class. I'm skipping my 12pm class. I'm working a little extra today... AND I get to be part of a photo shoot for my friend. WAHOO!!!

so...here goes!

1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn't think I'd like was I Am Legend. I really did enjoy that movie. I didn't think I would, but I did. 
2. Chile's Fajita Pita is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious!
3. It's time for me to get in the shower and get ready for the day.
4. The crisp fall air is quite refreshing.
5. If I never hear the word "X" again, it'll be too soon.
6. To one side of the curving road was a a pumpkin farm, and on the other was a marvelous corn maze filled with children.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a photo shoot for a friend, tomorrow my plans include watching the BYU vs New Mexico game and many other happenings and Sunday, I want to not freeze after a weekend full of cold weather!

I have a thing for purses. I really, really like them. I have many purses; however, a girl can never have too many...

Oops...

I accidentally slept in this morning. As in, I slept through my first class. Oh well. I did make it to my 9 am class, although I almost decided to not go to that class, but I'm happy to report I did go. Yay me.

In other news....my composer is doing amazing things and we have 3.5 minutes worth of music. I am super stoked about this.

*YAWN*

Why am I not in bed yet? It's Midnight. I just finished my cleaning check. I have a page left to write on a paper that isn't making sense to me. I have to be up in 6.5 hours. I think I might shower now so as to enjoy just a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning....

I also have a ton of reading to accomplish for class tomorrow. Bah. That might not happen. I might just read about it afterwards.  

On the upside, my apartment is ridiculously clean right now. Hopefully we can keep it like this for a long time. That would rock my world. I think this warrants ice cream...too bad I don't want to wash dishes, so I'm not going to dirty any, so I'm just going to go and finish my paper and take a wonderful shower. (that's quite the sentence, and I don't care)

Here's hoping you're getting more sleep than me!

i thought things were going to get harder tonight, but to my surprise they got easier. yay me. i am very happy right now. happier than i've been in a long time. sigh. life is good. life is very good.

Amazing

I have been fully edified this weekend. Even with other thoughts running through my head and having to deal with lots and lots of emotions, I have found this conference to be one of the best for me. Ever. 

I loved what President Monson had to say about change today and I loved Elder Nelson's talk on marriage. I also completely loved President Uchtdorf's talk about hope. This one is the talk that I was needing the most yesterday. What a beautiful message.

To be honest the entire 4 sessions of conference I watched was wonderful. I feel so uplifted right now and I know that, come what may, it will be what the Lord has in store for me. So, while today has been hard and it might get harder I know that Heavenly Father loves me, He has a plan for me, and that I won't have to go through this alone. Not at all. :) I hope you enjoyed your conference experience!

I cannot wait!!

I am so excited for General Conference this weekend. It is going to rock my socks off. I hope it rocks yours!!! It should be a fabulous 4 sessions full of good guidance and counsel.

I don't have very many....but they include Alishka, Allie, Licii, and Arope.

2. What was the first movie you bought in VHS or DVD?
It's a performance VHS of one of my shows with Academy of Ballet.

3. What is your favorite scent?
sigh. I love smells. This is hard! My favorite to wear is Black Amethyst. My favorite to smell is rain and Christmas trees.

4. What one place have you visited that you can't forget and want to go back to?
San Diego, CA. Although this could change when I go home for Christmas.

Yes, I do.

Uh....It's pretty simultaneous for me honestly.

Apathy, no sleep, and my family living in another state.

I would turn it into a lost and found. However, if I found it in the middle of the forest with no one around, I would use it for something fun and festive. Maybe for a night out with my man...

My cell phone, chapstick, lotion, and watch.

Hanging up pictures in the display case, finishing the department phone book, or finding that computer that needs the tag on it. Things I wish I could do right now: SLEEP.

FRIDAY!!!

1. October is one of my favorite months.
2. Spiders scare me!
3. Leaves are falling all around, it's definitely windy outside.
4. My favorite horror movie is nonexistant because i don't think i've seen enough horror movies to have a "favorite." I only watch them if a boy holds me during it.
5. Last night = good memories.
6. It was a dark and stormy night one crisp, Hallow's Eve. The witches were out witchin' the ghosts a howlin' and the cute little kids were trick or treating!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to something fun and relaxing with SwingKid, tomorrow my plans include General Conference and Sunday, I want to go to church in my pj's! (aka General Confernece)

Apathy

how do you help someone who feels apathetic towards many things?

how do you help them get out of that "rut?" 

what do you tell them when they tell you that they feel apathetic, but at the same time they love being with you and don't want to let you go?

how do you help them when they say there is nothing you can do for them, but you know deep down there's got to be something?
