a burning sensation

in my eyes. no joke. i was up really late last night with one of my bestest friends from HS, we'll call her sister missionary b/c she just got her call to seattle, WA spanish speaking!! I'm so excited for her! anyways, so sister missionary and friends and i all went country dancing last night. SO much fun...minus the fact that i didn't get to bed until 1am this morning...it was a BLAST!

but now...i'm living with the consequences. my eyes hurt (and have hurt all day long.) i knew this would be the case, so i wore my glasses instead of my contacts, but still. they hurt. and i am so so soooo tired, it's not even funny. in fact my plan for this evening: go home, eat dinner, read a book and go to bed. even though i would love to hang with my boy, i'm not up for it. unless he calls me. which i don't think he will. he's been super busy and his roommate leaves tomorrow and who knows when they'll see each other again. but yeah...bed. sleep. nap. it all sounds so good to me right now.

i love coming home, as long as i don't have to do it all the time, i greatly enjoy spending time with my family. yesterday, after my 7 peaks trip got canceled, my mom decided to come up to provo and we went to the mall to play. bath and body works is having their huge annual sale, and this is when i stock up on all my lotions from there. SO we went to the mall and played and then we came home and then my little bro and i went swimming. He's getting so tall (he's taller than me!) and he's only 14, but i guess he looks older to other people, or i look younger, or a combination of both, because people thought that i was his GIRLFRIEND! seriously! when we told this person who asked that we were brother and sister, they didn't believe us. It was kind of funny, and kind of sick at the same time. I mean really, he's 14.5 and I'm 21. That's just wrong. sigh, oh well...maybe when i'm 40 i'll look 30, and i'll be okay with that. :P

so anywho, today is father's day, and let me just say that I LOVE MY DAD! he's pretty much my hero, and one of the most amazing men in my life. he's great. so i'm excited to be home and spend time with my family. :D huzzah!

and i am still sore! oh my gosh! my calf muscles and hamstrings are sooo super tight, it's not even funny. bah! but i'll survive. i hope. lol. last night i went home to celebrate my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. SO much fun! I can't believe they've been married for 60 years. craziness!! tonight i get to watch the back-up tour team perform their show before leaving for nauvoo...which will be fun to watch and then tomorrow night we have a ward activity up in salt lake city watching a special performance of the nauvoo pageant, just for us! how cool is that? and then on Saturday i'm going to 7 peaks!! HURRAH!!! I have so much to do this week, it's lovely. :) I'm a happy camper.

Something I realized when talking to my sister last night...Elder Fish comes home sometime between now and the next 6 weeks. how crazy is that? I'm kind of excited about it, not going to lie. :) Hopefully I get a letter soon since it's been 6 weeks. ACK!!! HE'S COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay. i'm okay now. and now...time to get back to my boring job...and since my boss is gone, it's even quieter today. :P

TUESDAY!

even though it's only Tuesday this week has the feeling that it's going to fly by. Which it probably is with everything that I'm doing this week. Today I get to go up to SLC and take class from Ballet West which I did a couple of times last summer, and I loved it!!! I haven't taken a ballet class in over a month so I have the feeling that I'm going to be extremely sore tomorrow and I will probably complain a little. ;) But I will be happy in my complaining. :D lol.
