Goodbye President Hinckley. You will be missed and mourned much today. It was somewhat a shock to hear of his passing, because I didn't know that he was ailing in his health, but at the same time it has been somewhat expected for a few years now. He was 97 years old! Even though it comes to a shock, I know that it will be okay. It is interesting for me to thing that he has been the main leader in my lifetime. While this is sad, Growing up I have only really known President Hinckley as the prophet and president of the church. I do remember a little bit of President Benson and President Hunter, but truly President Hinckley sobering news, I know that he must be so happy right now. I am sure that it is just a party up there with his wife Marjorie Hinckley and his friends and other family members that passed before he did. Thank you for everything you did for the church, it was an incredible time of growth. God bless...

Time has flown
So as I sit here on my living room couch watching the Men's 2008 Ice Skating Championships I realized that January is practically over! The first of February will grace itself on Friday with Groundhog Day happening on Saturday morning. Where did January go?!?! It is so interesting to me how time passes. Seriously, with January practically being over that means the semester is 1/4 of the way over. WOW.
I realized this past week that my graduation date is quickly approaching. Well, quickly for me in any case. At this point in time, I am 90% sure that I will graduate in April of 2009. I will be going to school full time both spring and summer terms and then Fall and Winter semesters I will only have to go part-time/ 3/4 time. It will all depend on what kind of scholarship money I get for the upcoming Fall/Winter year if I go full time or not. I only have 7.5 and 8 credits respectively to take each semester. The thought scares me, but at the same time it is rather exciting to be almost done with the next phase in my life. Where I go from here, I have no idea. I have time to figure that out, but who knows. I found out last night that sister B has been looking at some smaller/more liberal artsy kind of colleges outside of Utah. It scares my mother to send her somewhere else far away, but I told my mom last night that if I'm still single I'll go with her and get a job wherever she is going to school. We'll live in some cool little apartment and it will be great fun. Who knows what will really happen but soon, I will be a real adult. SCARY!!!
I don't think I'm ready to become a real adult. I like being a kid, but I guess someday I have to grow up. I just didn't think it would come so soon.

Why Yes....
I am freaking incredible. Thank you very much. :-) ha ha ha just kidding. That was just the first thought that popped into my head as I started to write today. The sun came out today. It made me super, ridiculously happy. I love the sunshine. It makes me so happy. I am very much ready for the sun to come out more frequently, to make me warm, and be able to wear cute spring clothes. :-D

Music
Music has a huge influence on my life. I think part of this is because I am a dancer. I use music in every part of my life. So I guess it should come to no surprise that since Monday I have found some music that really speaks to me and has helped me know that everything is going to be A-OK. And while there is a whole song list of music, I'm going to share my top 3 songs that have really helped me out. So take a listen!
[Disclaimer, most of the lyrics in these songs apply, but if for some reason there sounds like there's a "I hate you" part (which I don't think there is too much of,) it doesn't apply to my situation okay? Things ended well, but these songs have really helped me out and I wanted to share it with you.]
Song #1: Starts With Goodbye by Carrie Underwood. [video of pictures to the song found here]
Song #2: Over You by Daughtry [music video]
and last but not least,
Song #3: Shadow of the Day by Linkin Park
Others that are really good, but not quite my top 3 but did make my list: Whenever You Remember by Carrie Underwood, You Are Loved by Josh Groban, My Immortal by Evanescence, I'll Think of You That Way by Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Stand by Rascal Flatts.
And the song I dedicate for someone else is I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. Look into it. For me. Thanks.

color me....
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!
No matter how many times I take tests like these, they always come out like this, I am SO yellow it's not even funny. However, I wouldn't want it any other way. :-) I like being yellow.
