thank you

to everyone who has called, texted, messaged, hugged me, fed me everything. you guys are the best friends a girl could ask for and I'm amazed that you have been so strong for me. it's good to know that there are so many people that care about me. THANK YOU!!!!

I bought new shoes today, as I am apt to do when distressed like this, :-) they are very hot heeled boots, I'm excited to wear them someday soon in the future. i just need an excuse to do so...and thanks to my parents...they sent me flowers and they are so pretty and just make me smile seeing them on the table. thank you for crying with me.

All in all the gratitude i feel is overwhelmingly and I can't say thank you enough to all of my friends. New and old. Thank you.

I just wish I could go to sleep, wake up and all this pain would be gone. That would make all of this so much easier. I know that which is hard is what will make me stronger but,I don't want to be stronger right now, I want to be healed.

tears...

when a chapter in your life ends, it's really hard.

my eyes hurt from the tears shed at the end of this chapter in my book of life, but through these tears I know that this chapter was meant to be in my life and that it can only mean better things are yet to come.

i can only hope that this chapter will be easy to end, as chapters like these are hard ones to get over.

shopping...

CPM, his roommate, another friend, and I all went shopping at the South Towne Mall yesterday. It was a lot of fun! I went with a purpose too. I wanted a cute new dress for a decent price, these new heels, and possibly a pair of pants. However, when I went into the Payless store, they told me they don't carry those shoes! Curses!! The only store that does is Fashion Place Mall. So I think I'll be calling them to see if they actually have them before actually going up there.

Even without getting the shoes I wanted, my shopping trip wasn't a bust. I bought this super cute dress:
I am wearing this dress today to church with my roommate's hot boots, and I'm really excited about it. The other super great thing about buying this dress is the fact that I got it half off!!! Hurray for me! I didn't buy any new pants, but I felt so accomplished buying this dress. :-D The other plus is that it looks really cute on. Hurray for me.

It is currently 9:57 in the morning, and it is only 12 degrees Fahrenheit. IT'S SO FREAKING COLD!!!!!!!

I forgot to look at my little weather bug when I got to work this morning, but it must have been somewhere between 8-10 degrees when I walked to campus. I wore: one pair of jeans, with one pair of sweats over them; I also wore my down east tee, a chenille sweater, my company jacket, my wool pea coat, gloves, one scarf, and a hat. I'm sure I looked pretty silly...but at least I didn't freeze anything off. :-P

I hope I survive this freakishly cold weather that has settled in Utah. I am SO ready for spring.
